Chris in Kindergarten

Chris in Kindergarten in Ms. Tang's class. He loves the Cars movie, so we went with that theme. Posted by Picasa

Danny's Soccer Picture Fall 2006

Danny's Soccer team was the Tigers. He liked to play for very short stints. And then come back to the sidelines for snacks and drinks! All the little 3-4 year olds were cute to watch in a big pile. Every once in awhile the ball would squirt out and someone would score a goal. Otherwise everyone played 'pack' position. 10 four year olds in a pack with the ball in the middle! Posted by Picasa

Tree Trimming Complete!

Saturday was the Day
After we got home from soccer this morning, we spent the rest of the day setting up the tree. It has been up since Monday, but decorating this 9 footer took quite a bit of time. The boys had a blast and have put their blessing on it. I'm sure Mel will be tweaking and turning but I think its great!

Our new 9' Christmas Tree

The New Tree is Up!

So with the baby and the new puppy we thought it best to get a 'simulated' tree this year. So we went out and got the biggest tree that would fit in our family room. I am exaggerating when I say fit too! This is also the first day that we used the fireplace. It is dropping into the 20s tonight out here in the desert and we saw snowcaps on the Catalinas this morning. Snow may make it farther down the mountain tonight too. It's begginning to feel a bit like Christmas... Posted by Picasa

Buckelew Petting Zoo

Chris Holds a Chicken

I'm not sure how to descirbe the expression but he is just a wee bit excited to be one of the lucky ones to actually hold a chicken at the petting zoo. A picture is worth a 1000 words (maybe 10000 this time). Posted by Picasa

Danny and his Pumpkin

Danny's Big Pumpkin
My Mom and Dad were visiteing from Kentucky the week before Halloween and so we took a trip out to a big Pumpkin patch. Everyone picked out their own pumpkin and this is the one Danny selected. Posted by Picasa

My Accent (or absence of one ;-O)

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.
